Travel

What are the arrival and departure times for the Party Weekend?

You can arrive for your Party Weekend in the 3-day programme from 15:00 onwards, the All Inclusive programme starts at 16:00. Departure is on Sunday by 13:00 at the latest.
In the 4-day programme from January to April and November to December arrival is possible from 12:00 onwards, and departure is on Monday by 10:30 at the latest.
For the 4-day Ascension, Whitsun and Dance into May programmes in 2014 the arrival times are the same as for the 3-day programme.

How is the journey by Fun Express organized?

The Fun Express takes you to your Party Club Weekend. Bookings are made directly through our Sales Centre. A last-minute booking (about 4 weeks or less before day of travel) is possible only on application and depending on availability.
Once your booking has been made you will receive your tickets and the exact time of departure about 3 weeks before the day of travel. The platform number will be shown on the display board of each railway station about half an hour before departure.
The check-in already takes place in the train, where you will receive your All Inclusive wristbands and a key for each building/studio in return for a € 10 deposit. Additional keys, in return for a further deposit, are available from reception when you arrive.
The Fun Express usually contains 6-person compartments and each guest is assigned a seat reservation.
The disco wagon is in the middle of the train, where you can also purchase beverages and snacks at favourable prices. Consumption of your own drinks is not permitted in the disco wagon, but you can consume these in your compartment. Smoking is allowed in the corridors by an open window.
On your arrival at the station, shuttle buses will take you straight to Eurostrand. Please consult the information displayed locally for the departure times of the shuttle buses back to the station.

What are the arrival and departure times for the My Holiday programme?

You can arrive from 17:00 onwards, also the time at which your All Inclusive holiday starts. In the 5-day programme from May to November arrival is possible from 12:00 onwards. This does not apply to the arrival dates 25.05.2014, 09.06.2014, 28.09.2014 and 06.10.2014.

How is the journey by Bus Extra organized?

The bus departs from the specified towns and cities, usually from the bus station. We will inform you about the precise departure time in writing 3-4 weeks before the day of travel. The price includes beverages such as beer, water, wine and spirits as well as a small snack. The All Inclusive programme starts in the resort at 17:00.

Which local railway stations can we travel to with Deutsche Bahn (the German railway company)?

If you are coming by train we recommend travelling to Lauenbrück (10 km) with the Metronom train from Hamburg or Bremen, to Scheeßel (13 km) or Tostedt (22 km).
Our partner taxi companies will then be happy to take you on the resort.

Excursions

When can we book the excursions?

Have you booked My Holiday? Then 4 weeks before the day of travel you will receive all information on your holiday, the group registration form and also the booking form for the excursions. As soon as you return this form to us we will reserve your places on the excursions of your choice.

If you are taking part in a Party Club Weekend, you can book your excursions and also your bowling session at the resort reception desk.

Do I have to take part in all the excursions?

All the offered excursions are included in the price. However, it is completely up to you whether you take part in these. If you don’t want to go on an excursion, you can also take part in one of the offered activities in our resort, select an activity in our leisure programme or enjoy our first-class entertainment.

All Inclusive

What is actually included in the All Inclusive price?

Our All Inclusive package in the Party Club Weekend programme includes the following services:
depending on the booked date, 2 or 3 overnight stays with 4-star hotel-standard comfort, 2 or 3 x brunch and dinner from the buffet, a bowling session, an excursion with boat trip on the Mosel, 2 or 3 dance evenings with live music, showband and DJ, brunch with surprises, use of all sport and leisure facilities (with the exception of bicycle use – subject to a charge), intermediate cleaning of the accommodation units.

In addition, all beverages in accordance with our beverage list at the bars and in the restaurants during the periods of the 3-day programme: Friday from 16.00 to 1.30 , Saturday from 10.00 to 1.30 , Sunday from 10.00 to 13.00 . In the 4-day programme: Friday from 12.00 to 1.30, Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 to 1.30 and on Monday departure is at 10.30 after breakfast. (Differing times for the 1 May, Ascension and Whitsun programmes).

In addition, all beverages in accordance with our beverage list in the times from 10.00 to 23.30. On the day of arrival the programme begins at 17.00, with the exception of arrival for the 5-day programme in the period from May to November when the programme already begins at 12.00. Departure for all programmes is at 10.30.

Football coverage

Do you show football matches?

Games in the Bundesliga, Champions League and European League involving German teams, as well as the European Championship and the World Cup, are shown on large screens.

Beverages

Which beverages are included in the price?

We offer you various brand beverages such as Havanna Club, Bacardi Rum, Jim Beam Whiskey, Krombacher Pils. You can view our complete range here.

Group registration form

By what date must I send you the group registration form?

You will receive the group registration form from us 4 weeks before the day of travel. You can complete this form and fax it back to us. If you do not have all data such as date of birth and address, then you can also present the form to the reception desk on your day of arrival.

Dogs

Are dogs permitted at the resort?

You are welcome to bring your dog with you to Eurostrand. Please note that, in consideration of other guests, animals may not be taken into the restaurant and the Inner Centre. Dogs should always be kept on a lead at the resort. Moreover, dogs may not be taken on the excursions. In this case it is not possible to travel to the resort by Eurostrand bus. An exception is made for guide dogs for the blind.

A surcharge of € 45 per stay is imposed for extra cleaning.

Food

Can you take account of food intolerances in your kitchen?

In consultation we can offer gluten-free or lactose-free food. Please inform us of your wishes when making your booking. It is also important that you consult daily with the cooks at the buffet. They will be happy to advise you about the daily offers.

Child bed

Do you have child beds?

Extra child beds can be reserved when booking for a charge of € 15. These are set up in one of the rooms. Please note that these beds are travel beds and not cots/cribs.

Reception desk

What items can be hired at the reception desk?

At the reception desk you can hire the following items for a small charge:

Discounts

Is there a group discount?

You receive a discount on bookings for the My Holiday programme. For every 20 paying guests you receive one free place.

Swimming pool

What are the opening hours of your swimming pool?

The opening hours are:
Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 22:00
Friday - Saturday: 8:00 - 18:00
Sunday: 08:00 - 13:00 

Do you also offer swimming courses?

At our Lüneburger Heide resort, swimming courses for the Seepferdchen (‘Sea Horse’) and Bronze badges take place three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), in the period between 14.00 and 17.00. The course programme is designed and supervised by our certified bathing facilities specialist, Christian Bruns. Please feel free to call us for more details.

Extension programmes

Can I book an extension programme at your resort?

Would you like to stay for 14 days? An extension is possible only during the family holiday periods and for our 8-day programme. Please note our different Party Club Weekend and My Holiday offers. Due to the various programming elements an extension is not always to be recommended. We will be happy to advise you if you have any questions.

WLAN

Is WLAN available?

A WLAN connection is available free of charge in the reception area.

Room facilities

How are the rooms furnished and equipped?

The accommodation units in our resort are furnished and equipped to 4-star hotel standard. The rooms are provided with a double bed, wardrobe, desk and small seating area as well as a television in each room. The bathroom is en suite. You will find bedding and towels in your room. The bathroom contains a hairdryer, shower gel/shampoo and a cosmetic mirror. The room also contains a safe.

Terms of payment

When do I need to pay the invoice that I receive from you?

After completion of the booking you will receive a confirmation of booking with payment slips. We apply an advance payment of 20%. This is to be paid within one week for Party Club Weekend bookings, and within 4 weeks for My Holiday bookings. The remaining sum is payable 4 weeks before the day of travel.

Will we receive confirmation that payment has been received?

We do not sent confirmations of payment receipt. Should a payable sum still be outstanding, you will receive a payment reminder. For more information about payments please contact our Sales Centre.
